Back in March 2023, Murriel went on a trip to Clearwater, Florida to visit her sister, Wilma. But we didn't stop there! We ate some good food, did some shopping, and even spotted some gators.

After picking up our rental car (it had to be red!!), we found some breakfast and hit the town. Murriel loves a good shopping trip!

She found some great Florida gear that she loved at some beach shops around the way. Naturally, we had to do an outfit change (and have a small break) before heading back out.

After some more shopping and exploring, we hit up a cute deli for lunch.

After a busy morning, we went back to the hotel for a break before we had another outfit change and went out to see Wilma, Murriel's sister. We had a great visit, complete with pizza and dogs--two of Murriel's favorite things!

The next day, we went to an alligator sanctuary and, of course, did some more shopping. Murriel met a friend! 

For Murriel, it is not a vacation without some good BBQ! So of course, we had to find a restaurant with some nice and saucy options. We found one just off of the beach that also had some live music.

On such a beautiful day, how could we resist the beach? We walked the boardwalk for a bit and went down to the pier. We were even lucky enough to stumble upon some street dancers--Murriel loved it!

As the sun set on the ocean, so it also set on our trip. Our flight left very early in the morning, so after grabbing quick ice cream cone, we went back to the hotel for some much-needed rest. 

Murriel loved her time in Clearwater and can't wait to go again! She's currently saving up money to make another trip. We have a daisy chain to keep a countdown in our dining room, and Murriel gets so much joy with every day she gets closer.
